The Tools We Use

 

Articulatory/mobilizing techniques - techniques primarily for moving and mobilizing a joint;

Soft tissue techniques - this would include all movement massage techniques such as Swedish, sports massage, deep tissue.

Functional techniques - all techniques which do not directly engage a restriction - these might include passive motion, harmonic or rhythmic.

Neuromuscular techniques - these would include trigger point techniques.
